MSc Programme
THE PROGRAMME
- The Programme is focussed on a large number of subjects concerning applied ICT;
- The duration of the Programme is two years;
- Graduands are given a Master of Science in Information Communication Technology degree after successful completion.
THE CURRICULUM
The first year is made up of 16 modules which are grouped in the following 5 clusters:Cluster 1: ICT Management and Security includes the modules:
- ICT and Quality Management;
- Business Process Modelling;
- Security Management / Technology.
Cluster 2: Project Management:
- Project Management;
- Information System Development and Acquisition;
- Knowledge Management / Technology.
Cluster 3: Technology:
- Internet Technology;
- Data Communication and Networks;
- Advanced Databases.
Cluster 4: Business and ICT Strategy:
- E-Commerce;
- Entrepreneurship;
- Business and ICT Strategy;
- Accounting Management.
Cluster 5: Mathematics and Industry:
- Applied Mathematics;
- Industrial Automation;
- Capita Selecta.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
A student must achieve a cumulative weighted average (CWA) of at least 55% before he/she can graduate. A student who obtains a cumulative weighted average (CWA) of less than 55% at the end of his/her studies and therefore not eligible to graduate would only be given an academic transcript.
